Tree Removal

Grinding Tree Stumps
Grinding a tree stump is a quicker, and some say more efficient, method than removing a tree stump’s roots. After a tree has been cut down what remains is a small, flat trunk of wood protruding just above the ground. You’ll often see these around natural parks and public recreational areas where a tree removal service was required and they opted not to grind the stump or remove the tree roots.
A tree stump grinding service will end up removing most visible traces of a tree stump. In addition, it is important to note that the any roots will remain behind and can stick around for many years before decaying naturally. This does result in some settling of surrounding soil in the ground and heavy traffic over the years will reveal areas which dip down into the decaying roots.
